Explore Traditional Towns And Captivating Caves...
For a change of scenery on holidays to Sa Coma, just head south, over the foot bridge and into neighbouring S’Illot, a traditional little town with a delicious selection of mouth watering beachfront restaurants. To the north, for a slightly livelier night out, is Cala Millor. Just a short tram ride away this bustling resort offers a choice of live music bars, karaoke nights and clubs that keep you dancing long into the night.
Cala Millor also has a wonderful Safari Park that the whole family will love, and if you travel south from the resort, past S’Illot, you will reach the famous Caves of Drach at Porto Cristo. Time your visit right and you will be treated not only to some spectacular underground sights, but also a spectacular concert by musicians floating on one of the world’s largest underground lakes.
There are some excellent golf courses in the area with some stunning panoramic views. If horse riding is your thing then head to the Rancho Sa Coma where lessons and treks are available for all ages and levels of ability. Glass bottom boats will take you along the coastline for a peak into the underwater life here, and a chance to see this dramatic coastline from a different angle.
