Kolymbari Holidays

Relaxing And Authentic...

Kolymbari is a typical clichéd fishing village. White wash buildings decorated with small colourful flower pots little the streets while small fishing boats bob on the water’s surface. In that sense there is nothing wrong with an old cliché. The gorgeous scenery and amazing views are ideal for a relaxing, authentic holiday.

Exploring the local area is a must! Visit The Monastery Gonias on the outskirts of the village where a canon ball lodged in the side of the outside wall tells it own story of age. Or you can spend you days dipping your toes in the waters of the Mediterranean off the rocky cove. If you prefer a beach then you can lay on a sweep of sand and pebble shore line where they have important some of the sand.

Greek Food And Long Drinks...

Nightlife in Kolymbari is as relaxed and chilled as the daytime. There is a small choice of Tavernas and restaurants serving up good Greek meals and long drinks. If you want something a little livelier you can head across to Crete’s second city, Chania.

Just fifteen miles from Kolymbari and you can explore the abundance of shops, restaurants, Tavernas and bars. Leather goods are particularly good here and not too expensive. For those wanting a relaxing and peaceful holiday with true Cretan flavours and a taste of the local area, Kolymbari is perfect.
