Built on the ruins of the owner’s family mansion, the beautifully designed Aresti Villas feature original stonework and a characterful restaurant-bar that serves classic Greek dishes. You can dine al fresco on the terrace and there’s a play area close by for kids.
The 16 villas are set in roaming farmland. There’s so much space that each villa gets its own private pool and sun terrace.
Each villa is chic and individually decorated. It comes with everything you need for your break, including a well-equipped kitchen and a TV and DVD player in the lounge.
Overview of Zante
Zante is a glimmering jewel of an island located just off Greece’s mainland. It’s a big favourite with British holidaymakers because of the variety of breaks available.
Stays at the Aresti Villas are all about rest, relaxation and seclusion. But, during your holiday to Zante, you can enjoy family-friendly beaches, nightclubs that are loved by clubbers and cobbled streets that excite culture vultures. And as Zante is only a small island, you can experience all of this and much more on the same holiday.
Things to do in Zante
You’re in a secluded and private position at the Aresti Villas. It’s in the tiny village of Agios Dimitrios, while the nearest shops and restaurants are four kilometres away in Alykes.
Taking a trip to Alykes is like stepping back in time. It’s less developed than neighbouring Laganas and Tsilivi, but there’s still plenty going on. From the old stone bridge over the Skourtis River to the wildlife-filled salt flats, Alykes has managed to retain its Greek authenticity.
Regular boat tours also leave from Alykes, with many featuring glass-bottom boats so you can see the underwater wildlife. If you’re lucky, you may even spot a loggerhead turtle or two! The most popular spots to visit include Turtle Island and the Blue Caves.
With so much to see, do and explore, you and your family will love a holiday to Zante.
