Magaluf Holidays 2024/2025

Welcome to party central. Drinking and dancing until dawn is the name of the game here, with Magaluf being home to some of the best bars and clubs in Majorca. Stay right in the action for an easy stumble back to your hotel, or on the outskirts for wild nights followed by a good night’s – or should we say morning’s – sleep.

Under the sun

Not only does Magaluf have an epic nightlife scene, it also has a spectacular European Blue Flag award-winning beach. For a kilometre along the coastline is soft, white sand and warm, shallow water, ideal for snorkelling, leisurely swims and sleeping off the hangover. Many All Inclusive hotels in Majorca boast excellent sea views and easy beach access, too.

If you love your water sports, Magaluf’s beach will not disappoint, with its large array of activities including jet skiing, windsurfing, scuba diving trips and boat rides. Or to simply sun yourself on the beach and darken your tan before hitting the clubs, there are plenty of sun loungers and parasols lining the coast.

Magaluf’s beach has a long promenade along the edge of the sand, and along it you’ll find lots of restaurants, hotels, bars and shops. You’ll also have prime viewing of the party boats and yachts making their way through the Mediterranean Sea.

Holidays in Magaluf

Party time

The main reason people head to Magaluf is because of its epic party scene and this really can’t be downplayed. Enjoy the wild nightlife, sleep in the next day, relax on the beach all afternoon and then you can start all over again.

Magaluf has so many bars and clubs you’ll be spoilt for choice. Even the most practised bar crawlers won’t be able to sample all of the venues in just one holiday. There are also numerous, quieter pubs and cocktail bars to start your night in. Partygoers flock to the bars in BCM square, where the volume cranks up as the party gets started. There are a number of famous spots where world-class DJs spin the decks, probably the most famous of which is the huge BCM nightclub.

Shop til you drop

When searching for that perfect bikini for the beach or souvenirs to bring home to your friends, Magaluf’s shopping district will not disappoint. You’ll find everything you’re looking for in the small boutiques, high street shops and supermarkets. If you’ve booked last minute holidays to Majorca before, you will know that it is easy to get hold of anything you need that you’ve left at home.

Just behind the beach is Magaluf’s mall where you can scour the shops for your favourite surf gear, clothing or jewellery. For something a little more individual take a day trip to Inca, one of Majorca’s largest outdoor markets. You can get a bus connection from Palma to look through the leather handbags, sandals, shoes and more.

Surprisingly family friendly

Magaluf has lots of family-friendly attributes as there is so much going on that children – and grown up kids too – will enjoy here. During the day the resort is lively yet relaxed, and it’s not difficult to stay away from the party strip on an evening. There are plenty family-friendly pubs and restaurants in the resort too.

Western Waterpark is only a short drive from the centre of Magaluf and boasts thrilling slides, a large wave pool and splash park. We dare you to go down one of the crazily steep slides, the tornado rings rides, or kamikazes.

For more adventures, head on over to the magical land of Katmandu Park. This quirky amusement park has 4D cinema rides featuring westerns and zombies along with mini-golf, surfing experiences and a whole mythical world you can explore.

There’s also the Pirates Adventure Show, which has a family friendly and an ‘uncut’ version, so just make sure you book the right one. It’s full of spectacular acrobatics, gymnastics, dancing and plenty of cheering for your favourite pirate.

Restaurants, cafes and pubs

There is something for every food lover in Magaluf, with its selection even appeasing the most picky of eaters. The tourists and ex-pats that frequent here have encouraged international restaurants serving British, American, Chinese, Indian and an array of other cuisines. All Inclusive Majorca hotels usually have a meal plan, but don’t be afraid to sample restaurants around the city.

If you want to try out the local food there are also many authentic Spanish and Mediterranean restaurants serving the classics of paella and tapas plus much more. You’ll find most of these restaurants surrounding the beach on the promenade and in the clubbing quarter.
