Top Notch Resort

Beach at sunset

I was a little apprehensive about travelling to Morocco having heard many controversial opinions and read so many differing reviews. I was quite wary and not sure what to expect. We found a cheap deal through First Choice and decided to take our chances and find out for ourselves.

We booked to stay in a place called Agadir, at the Caribbean Village Agador. The reviews were a mixture of good and bad. On arrival in Morocco we were welcomed with a warm smile by the First Choice rep. She was polite and friendly, and gave us a detailed insight into the things to do and see in the area. We were pleased with everything so far.

Glistening blue pool

The hotel complex was really nice. It had many facilities, including 4 outdoor swimming pools, 7 bars and 5 eateries to enjoy. Everything was great, but the food. It was still fresh and hot, but despite 5 venues, we thought there just wasn’t a lot of variety on offer.

There were lots of things to do in the resort of Agadir. There are numerous shopping areas and markets for bargain hunters and also, there are many bars and restaurants to enjoy a beautiful meal with delicious food and gorgeous wine. I can’t imagine Agadir being unsuitable for anyone.

A typical Moroccan market

We really enjoyed this holiday and would definitely return to Morocco. I would highly recommend this hotel and would most certainly recommend the resort to all sorts of holidaymakers. First Choice was a good tour operator too and we will definitely be booking with them again soon.
