Sound like a dream? Well, it doesn’t have to be just that! Did you know, we’re partnered with Holiday Extras, ensuring you can get the best deal possible on your airport lounge bookings? There’s no better way to start your holiday!

Indulge Yourself

With unlimited tasty treats on offer, you can really fill your boots before boarding the plane, all at no extra cost. Whether your flight has you up with the birds or is a late night adventure, there’s always something suitable on offer.

Each lounge’s menu will differ slightly, but you can expect breakfast favourites including pastries, cereals and cooked delights, with plenty of tea, coffee and juices to keep you hydrated. Lunchtime and evenings bring delicious, restaurant-esque meals and there’s lots of options to choose from.

The star of the show is, of course, the extensive drinks menu with everything from beers to spirits, wines to soft drinks. And what could taste better than free drinks to start off your perfect holiday!

At Manchester Airport’s Aspire Lounge, they’ve opted for an all-day breakfast menu with crowd pleasing options like bacon, sausages, mini hash brown bites, greek yoghurt and pastries. You can wash it down with Heineken, Beefeater Gin or a selection of wines – all complimentary of course.

Pick the Perfect Spot

When it comes to choosing which airport lounge to book, there’s some important things to consider. In larger airports like Manchester and London Heathrow, there are different lounges for different terminals. Before booking, ensure to check which terminal your flight leaves from so you can relax in peace on the day!

Depending on who you travel with can also influence your decision on which lounge to book. If your departure airport has more than one lounge to choose from, one of those options may be adults-only. This is a great choice if you’re travelling with your partner or friends and want to enjoy a kid-free environment to have a couple of drinks before your flight.

If your party includes children, there are some airport lounges that will accommodate them. Of course, guests book into lounges to relax, so children must be on their best behaviour and be considerate of others throughout their time in the lounge.

Though prices for each airport lounge can differ depending on which you choose and which airport you’re flying from, prices start from around £20 at the likes of Manchester Airport and around £30 at London Gatwick.

Look the Part

Before setting off to the airport, it’s worth checking to see if there are any guidelines around clothing restrictions in your chosen airport lounge. Some airport lounges request that no caps are to be worn inside the lounge so, if you’re planning on covering up your bed head with your favourite cap, it’s best to keep it in your bag while inside the lounge.

Some lounges may also request that ‘smart casual’ clothing is to be worn, i.e. no tracksuits and no short shorts. If you don’t meet the requirements of the airport lounge, they do reserve the right to refuse entry and you won’t get your money back if this happens, so it’s better to check beforehand!

Along with wearing suitable clothing, it’s also very important to ensure you’re respectful to others and don’t get too rowdy. Airport lounges are designed to be a relaxing environment, so make sure to pace yourself on those free drinks!
