A Month by Month Guide to Lanzarote’s Weather

Lanzarote is located in the Canary Islands and not only is it a fantastic destination for year-round sun, the temperatures seldom drop below 16°C. Lanzarote also has a great mix of resorts to suit every type of traveller and is packed with lots of things to explore and do.

So let’s take a look at the type of temperatures you could expect throughout the year.

Summer Months – April to November

The summer months start in April and run through to November, with the hottest months usually being August and September. In these months, the temperatures shouldn’t vary too much as Lanzarote has a sub-tropical climate. You can expect north easterly trade winds, during these months, however, this doesn’t affect the temperature and can often be a welcome way to cool down. Rain is also very rare in the summer months.
