Adjust your Airport

Often changing your airport can help to find you a cheaper deal. If you have any flexibility in where you can fly from, then this is a great option to help keep the price down. Most airports have fantastic public transport links, so if driving that little bit further isn’t for you, then there’s plenty of options available. Flexibility also helps you to take advantage of late holiday deals, as you can’t always fly from your first choice airport if you’re looking to bag a bargain.

If you have some flexibility on the day you fly, this can also help you cut back the pennies. We know taking the kids out of school early can be frowned upon, but if you change from a Saturday flight to a Sunday flight, or vice versa, this can affect the price of your holiday.

Similarly, unusual durations can also help you claw back some money. If you’re able to extend or reduce your half term break by a day or so – whether there’s a dreaded teacher training day, or flight times mean six night break could be better for your family – you will be surprised at how much this can affect your final holiday price.

Dreaming of that Destination?

As well as being flexible with your airport, not being set on one holiday destination can also help you save those all-important £s. While you might have a particular country in mind, there are many options available to choose from, and you can often find a great deal somewhere you’ve never thought about going to!

If you have a favourite hotel in a country you often visit year after year, we can help you find an amazing alternative that offers the same facilities and services that you love and value. If you enjoy a particular collection such as SplashWorld, TUI BLUE for Families or Holiday Villages then you can find an array of hotels similar to your favourite but in a new and exciting destination.

SplashWorld hotels are all situated either on or close to some of the world’s best water parks. This means that no matter if you stay at Globales Los Delfines in Majorca or SplashWorld Chrispy Resort in Crete, you can still enjoy whizzing down water slides and floating along a lazy river no matter which country you visit.

TUI BLUE for Families hotels pride themselves on bundles of activities, amazing kids’ clubs and evening entertainment that will please everyone – and rightly so! Whether you choose to travel to Greece, Cyprus or the Canaries, you will find spacious rooms, licensed kids clubs and all-day, family entertainment.

Holiday Villages are the ultimate family holiday. With everything from aerial adventure courses, fantastic kids’ clubs, splash parks and great evening entertainment – Holiday Villages were designed with families in mind.

Free Child Places

Each year we have 1000s of free child places up for grabs on TUI and First Choice family holidays. But what is the criteria, and what does it actually include?

One free child place can be added to a holiday with two full-paying adults. That includes their flight, hotel, transfers and in some cases, food and drink is also included depending on board basis. Other children must pay full price, but if you’re taking two children you can look at it as a 50% saving for each child!

Children between the ages of 2-16 qualify, but your board basis can affect the eligibility of your child, with some hotels capping a child’s age at 12 for All Inclusive holidays. Each hotel’s terms and conditions around free child places can vary, so it’s best to search for your holiday at the top of our website like you normally would, enter the age of your children then filter by free child place holidays.
