Hotel Timoulay, Agadir

The hotel

We loved the Hotel Timoulay in Agadir from the moment we saw it. It is an excellent place to stay with traditional Moroccan décor, first-rate facilities, brilliant staff, and what’s more, it’s in a great location. Located at the end of a beautiful beach, the place is so picturesque, with lovely walks along the shoreline and gorgeous views out across the Atlantic. The hotel is ideal for families. The outdoor pool has a children’s section and there is a babysitting service available. Our room was superb. It had a huge Berber rug and big, comfy sofas, perfect for putting our feet up after a long walk. The bathroom had a lovely deep bath, and I enjoyed a long, relaxing soak before my evening meal. All of the rooms have air-con and blackout curtains to ensure a great night’s sleep, even on the hottest of nights and brightest of days. In the restaurant, there was a choice of European and Morrocan menus, with the Moroccan Salon serving exquisite pastries and refreshing mint tea. The Cafe Bar is ideal for a light afternoon snack. The outdoor area is just divine, you can relax on the upper terrace with comfy sofas while you sip your afternoon G&T, or chill on huge double beds with sumptuous plump cushions by the pool. I was pampered in the health spa, and the service was second-to-none, with luxury treatments available. Overall, our stay in the Hotel Timoulay was the ultimate in relaxation and luxury, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
