Holidays Are For Everyone: Our Favourite Destinations For Groups

Here at Holiday Hypermarket we believe holidays are for everyone. That’s why we sell all kinds of holidays for all kinds of people. And we’re not on about tall people, short people, or people sporting a beard. We mean beach lovers, adrenaline junkies, lovebirds, and everyone in between. Over the next couple of month we’ll be using our holiday expertise to write a series of blogs to help you choose your perfect hotel or holiday destination, and this is the fourth blog in the series, focussing on groups. Enjoy!

  1. Marmaris – Turkey

Why? –  Marmaris’ nightlife is lively to say the least. With streets filled with back to back bars and nightclubs, party-hungry groups will be thoroughly entertained.

Things to do – Bar Street is a must in Marmaris. Enter this hectic zone and see die-hard clubbers, upbeat crowds and foam-filled shindigs. Not one for exploring? Then try a bar crawl where you can join a group of like-minded partiers on a quest to sample some of Turkey’s greatest haunts.

Not sure how to spend your days? Aqua Dream water park is fantastic for an all-day group outing. With its many attractions such as water caves, white knuckle waterslides, rocky rapids and fast flumes you and your group won’t run out of things to do. And better still, you can enjoy a birds-eye view of Turkey’s mountainous landscape as you prepare to shoot off down the dreaded plummeting Kamikaze.

Where to stay – Club Evin is suitable for groups. With its central location, Marmaris’ bars and clubs are practically on your doorstep. Plus, this hotel’s laid-back pool area and soothing spa are ideal for relaxing after a wild night on the town.

  1. Sunny Beach – Bulgaria

Why? – Nothing says group holiday quite like Bulgaria. This 24-hour party resort sees holidaymakers partying from day till dusk with its boat party bashes and bouncing boulevard.

Things to do – Walk down to the beachfront where you’ll find hundreds of bars and nightclubs to sample. Not sure where to head first? Shooters or Scandals are a good option, and both serve up some delicious yet easy on the wallet drinks.

After you have made friends with strangers and most likely danced on several bars, head for one of Bulgaria’s nightclubs. Revolution is usually a hit among party-going Brits due to its star-studded hosts and dance music vibes. Or if you prefer more of an outdoor party feel, Cacao Beach is known for its all-night sandy shindigs.

Bored of lazing on Bulgaria’s beaches? If so, there is an action-packed amusement park located in the heart of Sunny Beach. Here you can jump on and off rollercoasters, ride bumper cars till you’re sick and climb up over the trees on the house-sized spinner, ‘Jump in Space’. But don’t panic about entertaining those ride-shy members of the group because the park also has a mini golf course and a couple of arcades.

Where to stay – 2wentys property Hotel Palazzo is a great choice for groups as it caters to a range of tastes. With its impressive poolside and onsite bar offering a wide selection of drinks you and your group won’t be complaining.

  1. Ayia Napa – Cyprus

Why? – As one of Europe’s hottest party spots this resort screams group holiday. Its never-ending nightlife, swanky hangouts and themed bars will test even the most hard-core partiers.

And for those beach lovers in the group, Aiya Napa’s Nissi beach is one of the most eye-catching beaches on Cyprus’ tropical coast.

Things to do – There is never a dull day in Ayia Napa and one event to try is Fantasy Boat Party. This deck-jumping gathering is the best way to unleash your inner party animal as it offers fun games, a fully stocked bar and an onboard DJ all geared towards getting the party started.

Boasting 12 clubs and streets lined by hundreds of bars this resort promises one thing and one thing only, an out-of-this-world party. The Napa strip usually gets busy around 1am and dies off around 5am, leaving the streets more crowded than ever. Still not ready to retire to your bed? Well, you’re in luck because River Reggae and Aqua stay open until 7am. That’s right, 7am!  Yes, this means you have permission to skip breakfast.

Where to stay – Be at your favourite bar in a matter of minutes with the Senator Apartments. This 2wentys property is set amongst Aiya Napa’s noisy nightlife, making it a popular choice with party-loving Brits who don’t want to miss an ounce of the action.

  1. Mexico – Cancun

Why? – Daily pool parties, the hottest nightclubs and sombrero wearing partiers all surrounded by stunning blue waters is what makes Cancun the place to be this summer.

Things to do – There’s no shortage of pool parties in Cancun, so if you’re looking for an all Mexican summer blowout you can’t go far wrong. Party property, Oasis Cancun, attracts masses of groups each year due to its Spring Break contests and well-known DJs. Cancun’s lengthy beaches are the ideal setup for some of the biggest parties, so feel free to sip away your summer with a fruity cocktail while you dance barefoot on the beach.

Where next? The Hotel Zone has a dozen nightclubs all offering a unique experience which you won’t find here in the U.K. Coco Bongo is one of the most celebrated clubs in Cancun due to its giant screens, special appearances, convincing impersonators and acrobats so impressive you will think they have walked straight off the Vegas strip.

Where to stay – Grand Oasis Cancun is great for groups as it is situated in the rarely quiet Hotel Zone. As one of the more lively hotels in Cancun there is plenty to see and do, from the noise-filled pool parties to the up-close beach view.

  1. Benidorm – Spain

Why? – This almost English resort sees Brits return year-on-year, and is often described as a home from home for many holidaymakers. But more recently, the resort had gained popularity with scandalous stags and hyped up hens due to its famed club scene, out-of-this-world entertainment and short flight time, making it perfect for a mini-break or weekender.

Whether you’re one for lazing in the sun for hours or more of an adventurer, it doesn’t matter because there will be something to suit all members of your group in Benidorm. If a day-trip is on the agenda the Costa Blanca will not disappoint. With theme parks, water parks, go karting and boat outings you won’t be bored.

Things to do – When it comes nightlife there’s not a lot you won’t find in Benidorm. From top notch clubs to Vegas-style entertainment and adult-only acts this non-stop resort puts the ‘p’ in party. With so many not-to-be-missed nightspots make sure you plan ahead because you won’t get to try them all. And for all you stag and hens who want to make your last night of freedom one to remember, why not try bar hopping your way around the strip with a guided pub crawl? But the question is, where will the night take you?

Where to stay – Levante Club Hotel is an adult-only property, meaning it’s ideal for stag and hens seeking some child-free chill time. It also sits close to the beach, so make sure you pack your beach towel because your toes will be touching the famous Levante sand in seconds.
