Holidays Are For Everyone: Our Favourite Destinations For Couples

Here at Holiday Hypermarket we believe holidays are for everyone. That’s why we sell all kinds of holidays for all kinds of people. And we’re not on about tall people, short people, or people sporting a beard. We mean beach lovers, adrenaline junkies, lovebirds, and everyone in between. Over the next couple of month we’ll be using our holiday expertise to write a series of blogs to help you choose your perfect hotel or holiday destination, and this is the first blog in the series, focusing on couples. 1. Santorini, Greece.

Why? – Peaceful, fine dining restaurant settings and hotels with romantic views across the spectacular Mediterranean. 3. Sharm-el-Sheikh, Egypt.

Why – known for its beautiful dive sites, warm weather all year and great value for money All Inclusive hotels.

Things To Do – Sharm can be chilled or exciting as you want it to be. There are the busy resorts of Naama Bay where you can bag a few bargains or relax around your resort. The Red Sea is also famous for its diving sites and star gazing. If you fancy seeing one of the Seven Wonders of the World the Pyramids of Giza are only a one hour flight from Sharm.

4. Sorrento, Neapolitan Riviera, Italy.

Why – Sorrento is perched on a cliff that has amazing sea views with many top class restaurants. It’s a great choice for honeymoons or a romantic break away.

Things To Do – Day trips to Isle of Capri – the picture says it all. Sorrento is the perfect choice for couples who enjoy sipping a cocktail or two whilst dining in top class restaurants. Italy has an excellent reputation for food and wine so this area is perfect for the ‘foodies’ among us.

5. Marrakesh, Morocco.

Why – Bustling streets, souks and high-on-the-thermometer – Marrakesh ticks a lot of boxes. It has become increasingly popular over the last few years with its attractive prices and value for money. Short duration stays are also available, making it a popular choice near Valentine’s Day or even for a mini-moon.

Things To Do – Spend your dirhams at the Souks, roof top bars and restaurants watching the world go by as the sun sets and for the people who like history Koutoubia Mosque is Marrakech’s most famous symbol. Where To Stay – The recently rebranded hotel by Thomson Medina Gardens is the one for couples, it has been refurbished this summer. This stylish 4 star property is very central and is just ten minutes walk to the Medina. They offer private Jacuzzi rooms and All Inclusive at a supplement making it the perfect choice for couples holidays.
