My husband and I went on holiday to Marrakech last June and found it to be a wonderful and welcoming place to visit. Marrakech has lots of narrow alleyways, lined with attractive old buildings which are very eye catching. The main square is fabulous and the Medina is such a thrill to walk around. Anything and everything you could possibly want is sold here and absolutely everybody haggles. I got a stunning leather handbag and my husband got a leather wallet from one of the stalls at a fraction of the cost the stall holder originally wanted.
At night everybody heads to the large square, with its wide selection of open air restaurants and bars and captivating atmosphere. The energy of the street performers gives the square a real buzz and we thoroughly enjoyed our evenings here. Overall we have a very enjoyable holiday and for anyone wanting a holiday with real charm and atmosphere, I would highly recommend Marrakech.
