It may seem a way off but 2018 is fast approaching for holiday lovers like us. So when the news that Thomson, the UK’s largest tour operator, announces its 2018 programme it’s hard not to get excited! With new destinations, new concepts, new hotels and even a new cruise ship, there is a lot to get through.
Let’s break it down for you.
New destination – Golden Sands, Varna, Bulgaria
The name Golden Sands certainly suits this buzzing beach resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, near the city of Varna. With a beach that stretches 3.5 kilometres, there’s no shortage of space to set up your sunlounger – even in high season!
Bulgaria has recently been branded the cheapest beach holiday destination in Europe but that doesn’t mean it scrimps on comfort and quality. Thomson are offering a range of hotels here, from cracking Self Catering to fantastic All Inclusive options – 3 to 5* – there’s definitely something here for every type of holidaymaker!
Welcoming TUI Blue Hotels
You don’t always have to choose between a gorgeous hotel or a fantastic location, you get the best of both worlds with TUI Blue.
TUI’s brand new hotel chain has been envisioned to give you the best holiday experience possible. All hotels are situated in dreamlike landscapes spoiling you with a unique blend of local and contemporary cuisines, spa facilities and a genuine regional experience based on where you are! Seven hotels are ready for the summer of 2018 across Europe in destinations such as Italy, Croatia, Turkey and the Canaries.
TUI Sensatori Resort Rhodes & Sensimar additions
A new Sensatori has been added to the collection for 2018, in Rhodes, Greece – this one may just be the best Sensatori yet! A beachfront setting, luxurious spa, five restaurants, along with all the other unique touches that make your Sensatori experience so appealing – this has even more swim up rooms than any other Sensatori hotel. Plus you’re in Rhodes, it’s a win win!
The latest of Thomson’s Sensimar hotels will open in 2018 in the Greek resort of Halkidiki. The 42nd hotel of the collection is in the superior category – meaning plenty of hot tub suites and private pools making it that perfect place for a couple.
Next summer will see the launch of TUI Explorer – the companies’ largest ship! Based in Europe it will explore the Mediterranean docking at some of the continents finest ports. Like the Discovery ships it will be All Inclusive as standard. Confirmation has also come that TUI Discovery will have a new home in 2018, the UK, offering more flexibility and choice for customers, visiting more destinations such as Norway and the Baltics.
