The nights are starting to draw in and the days are getting shorter. Soon it will be time to put the clocks back and hang up the Christmas decorations. Winter is on its way. While the snow and ice of December seems far away, thoughts will soon start turning to where is best to go on your winter sun holiday. Here at Holiday Hypermarket we’ve pick our top winter holiday destinations so you can make a dash to the beach this winter.

Jamaica

Prices start at £697 for the Holiday Inn SunSpree, Montego Bay but if you’re looking for something more luxurious head to Sensatori Resort Negril where prices start at £968pp.

During the months of November to February take advantage of the warm winters where the average temperature is 24°C.

Maldives

During December prices start from £1294pp for Bandos Island Resort, North Male Atoll. If that doesn’t float your boat how about the stunning Palm Beach Resort and Spa, Lhaviyani Atoll, where prices start at £1897pp.

From December to April the Maldives enjoys the dry monsoon season where temperatures can reach 29°C. There is also little rain during these months.

Barbados

In January prices start from £1081pp for Island Inn Hotel, Bridgetown. If you’re looking for something a bit more elegant then Crystal Cove by Elegant Hotel, St James would be the ideal choice, with prices starting at £1871pp.

The winter months from December to March are considered high season in Barbados, with temperatures averaging 26°C.

Tenerife

November sees prices start from £436pp for the Villa Mandi, Los Cristianos, but if you’re looking for a great little All-Inclusive then the ClubHotel Riu Buena Vista, Playa Paraiso sees prices coming in at £504pp.

Tenerife is blessed with year-round sunshine. During the winter months the island sees temperatures averaging 21°C so you can still spend plenty of time at the beach.

Cyprus

If you’re looking for a charming All-Inclusive hotel check out Louis Phaethon Beach Club, Paphos, with prices starting at £324pp. For something more luxurious the Constantinou Bros Hotel Athena Beach easily fits the bill, prices start at £662pp for an All-Inclusive package.

Cyprus has a subtropical climate with November through to February seeing temperatures average 19°C. The winter months are Cyprus’ rainy season but you will still find plenty of days to bask in the sunshine.
