Try Something Different: Puerto Vallarta, Pacific Coast

Puerto Vallarta is on the west coast of Mexico and lies adjacent to 42 kilometres of a flip-flop friendly beach. It’s not as commercial as the resorts on Mexico’s Caribbean coast, which means on the Pacific coast you’ll get a lot for your money, especially in the All Inclusive resorts. The flight time is around 11 hours from the UK and since the introduction of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, airlines can make this a non-stop journey.

Weather

The average temperature in Puerto Vallarta is 30°C year-round so don’t forget to pack plenty of sun cream and keep well protected from those UV rays.

Resorts

The wide range of properties are scattered along the beach of Nuevo Vallarta. The town of Bucerias is to the north – you can take the bus or boat to sample its bars, restaurants and nightlife. Puerto Vallarta town is to the south and has a host of popular American eateries. Not forgetting the world famous nightclub, Coco Bongo.

Hotels

Most of the hotels that we offer are All Inclusive, meaning they are great value for money. We have budget hotels right through to modern luxury hotels.

At The Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta you’ll be pampered with free in-room credit to go towards selected golf, spa and beauty salon services, romantic and special dinner events, upgraded wine selection at restaurants, photo packages at Rock Shots and more. Beaches

Puerto Vallarta boasts 26 miles of immaculately clean beaches, which are less crowded than their Caribbean coast counterparts, giving you a bit more privacy. A string of restaurants run the length of the beach and provide umbrellas and loungers for daytime romantic table dinners.

Things to do
