Costa Teguise – Not A Snowflake In Sight!

Just landed home from Costa Teguise and wanted to let everyone know what a fantastic time my boyfriend Jason and I had. The weather was a lovely warm 25oC  every day and I really can’t believe we’ve come back to all this snow!! We’re both into windsurfing and the surf was amazing here! With the Timanfaya Mountain as a backdrop it was the perfect setting for us. It would’ve cost us a lot to take our own gear, so we rented our equipment in resort. It wasn’t too expensive and the staff were very helpful. As we spent most of our time windsurfing neither of us can really comment on any other activities in the resort…

The beach

The beach is really beautiful, especially surrounded by such a nice landscape. On an evening we visited some really lovely restaurants in the main square with plenty of bars advertising 2 for 1 offers. When the weekly market arrives, the whole resort seems to come alive. It was such a fantastic shopping opportunity and the hand made lace was so beautiful. As the euro is worth almost the same as the pound we really didn’t make any savings but it didn’t really matter – we still had a great holiday.
