A Slice Of Paradise

My boyfriend, myself and two of our friends returned from a dream holiday to Hawaii in February. We stayed at the Wailea Beach Villas which was a perfect choice, and we could not have wished for anything better. It thoroughly exceeded all of our expectations. The grounds were simply stunning and the waterfalls were elegant; it was like walking through a fragrant paradise.

The beach is just a short stroll through the grounds and it’s lovely walking through them as the variety of flowers is so colourfully impressive. I’m sure they a more vibrant variety than the Chelsea flower show! The sand is so white and clean, it felt as though I walking on cotton wool. The picturesque beach is framed by swaying palm trees. The sea is amazing. So warm and clear, and when you’re snorkelling the colourful tropical fish that you see are dazzling. We snorkelled every day and never got sick of seeing the tropical fish. I was always awed by their vibrancy.

Walking along the beach at night is just so romantic and the sunsets are some of the best we’ve ever seen. We had an amazing condo with an ocean view. It was tastefully decorated, beautifully furnished and very spacious. In addition, it was very well equipped with everything we could possible need. The swimming pools are great for lounging around as they don’t get crowded; most evenings there were just the four of us swimming before getting ready for tea. There are plenty of sun loungers and parasols around, so don’t worry about getting up at the crack of dawn to compete for one!

We didn’t ever eat out so can’t really comment on local restaurants. It was really nice to just barbecue your own food in such tranquil surrounding. There’s a local Safeway in Kihei that is reasonably priced and stocks everything you’d need during your stay, and there is plenty of choice when it come to beer and wine. We had such an unforgettable holiday in paradise. All of the staff were extremely friendly and the maid service was some of the best we’ve ever experienced. You do feel like you’re royalty whilst staying at the Wailea Beach Villas. We would recommend Hawaii to anyone looking for an amazing holiday experience, especially at the Wailea.
