TUI Discovery 2 – Sequels Don’t Have to be Second Best

Here we go again, Thomson is about to add another brand new ship to its collection and we can’t stop counting down the days. If you didn’t know, the ship will be named TUI Discovery 2 and will be a sister ship to TUI Discovery, which launched back in June.

Set to go on sale from the 21st July and cruising from two ports in 2017 – Malaga and Tenerife – passengers can a expect a refreshing new look and feel.

So, if you’re looking for an alternative to your yearly package holiday? Here’s why you need to add a cruise on the TUI Discovery 2 to next year’s travel to-do list.

It’s All Inclusive

Like TUI Discovery, TUI Discovery 2 will be offering All Inclusive as standard. So, just like your All Inclusive beach holiday, almost everything is thrown in.

During your time at sea you’ll be able to take advantage of a wide range of restaurants, most of your activities and a selection of premium drinks such as prosecco and cider for no extra charge. Ranging from fancy gourmet dishes to picky street foods, this ship offers both casual and fine dining experiences.

Plenty of regional airports to choose from

Getting there is easy – with the choice of 16 regional airports including London Gatwick, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Dublin and Birmingham, your TUI Discovery 2 journey can be as convenient as you want.

Cruise & Stay

Feel like you’ll catch cabin fever after a week at sea? Well, your holiday doesn’t have to end there. TUI Discovery 2 also offers some great cruise and stay options in its home ports of Malaga and Tenerife. This means you can pick from a wide range of amazing 4 and 5* hotels including Holiday Village Costa del Sol, Sensatori Tenerife and Bahia Princess.

So, if you’re still on the fence over a cruise holiday, a cruise and stay may be the best option for you. Combining a sea adventure with a 3, 4 or 7-night beach holiday, before or after your sailing, you’ll get to sample the best of both worlds.

Exciting itineraries

Sailing out of Malaga from May to September, then moving to Tenerife from October, guests can look forward to some amazing ports of call. And we don’t mean to brag but with four itineraries sailing from Malaga and two from Tenerife, you’ll get to experience some of Europe’s most amazing highlights during your time onboard.

Imagine exploring Barcelona’s Catalan culture, getting up close and personal with Barbary Apes in Gibraltar and haggling your way around Morocco’s narrow souks – can we book yet?

Onboard delights

You’ll pray for a sea day onboard this ship. Spend your time trying out the ship’s amazing range of facilities – laze by the pool for hours on end, beat your partner at mini golf or sit back and relax with the kids and enjoy an outdoor cinema experience.

Hungry? There won’t be any rumbling stomachs on this ship with six restaurants to choose from serving up a range of cuisines, meal times will soon become your favourite time of the day. And with seven bars you’ll certainly get to make the most of your All Inclusive package.
