Marbella Cheap Holidays

Experience an unforgettable Spanish holiday in budget friendly Marbella

You can be on these stunning Spanish shores in no time, as flights from the UK will get you here in less than three hours.

Marbella may be known as a hotspot for the rich and famous, but it’s increasingly becoming a more affordable place to stay with several budget-friendly hotels and free attractions. The coastline is of course Marbella’s main squeeze, with 24 beaches to choose from and 25 kilometres of shore.

But there’s a lot more going on than just the surf, Marbella’s also home to a roaring nightlife and bustling marina – two activities that won’t break the bank this holiday.

Cheap things to do around Marbella

The landscape of Marbella is historic and diverse, with beautiful ruins and endless stretches of sun-kissed sand.

With so many sightseeing opportunities, you can have an entire holiday of adventures without spending a thing. Enjoy your afternoon walking along Nikki Beach or joining in with the watersports down at the shore.

When the sun sets you can whip out your dance moves, busting a move in one of the beach clubs with world-class DJs mixing the tracks. Pick and choose which club you want to check out, some have no cover charge, and with an array of cheap beers and cocktails on the menu you can have a memorable night out without going over budget.

The marina in nearby Puerto Banus is full of super yachts in the water and Ferraris and Lamborghinis on the street, and it makes for an excellent spot to do a little window shopping. Take a look at the designer boutiques that stretch along the marina and enjoy an ice cream as you take in the atmosphere.

Heading east along the coastline from here you’ll find Marbella’s Old Quarter. This historic neighbourhood is full of narrow winding cobblestone streets and quaint spots to sit and have a coffee and churro or two.

How to get a great Marbella holiday deal

There really is no bad time to visit Marbella as it receives more than 320 days of sunshine a year. But if you’d like to cash in on those holiday deals, it’s best to wait until eight weeks before your departure, that’s when you’ll find all the cheap last minute options.

Marbella has both a good selection of All Inclusive hotels and Self Catering, depending on which way you want to go. With such an active nightlife scene you may want to do some of your own cooking, so you don’t have to depend on the hotel restaurant opening times and you can save more money for your nights out.

Marbella’s not the only holiday destination with an affordable price tag. If you’d like to check out some other budget options in Costa del Sol then have a look at Torremolinos, Benalmadena or San Pedro.
