H10 Delfin Park

The adults-only H10 Delfin Park has a stylish edge. The rooms feature stencilled floral wall art, while the lobby includes quirky patterned furniture and mirrored columns.

You’ve got two pools to pick from. The main one’s a lagoon-like number at the centre of a spacious terrace filled with sunloungers. It even has its own waterfall feature that you can dip under to cool off.

A spread of Mediterranean and international dishes is laid out in the buffet restaurant. Meals are even cooked-to-order at the show-cooking stations. For poolside lunches, there’s a snack bar, and there’s a great cafe for when you need a caffeine fix.

Overview of Salou

With top beaches, amusement parks and plenty of nightlife, Salou is a destination that suits visitors of all ages. Whether you’re looking for some relaxation by the sea or you want to party the night away, a holiday to Costa Dorada is perfect.

Salou has two main beaches, and both are close to the H10 Delfin Park. Both of these are Blue Flag accredited, so you’ll have access to plenty of facilities. There’s also a great range of water sports if you’re looking to get active.

Things to do in Salou

Location-wise, the H10 Delfin Park is only five minutes’ walk away from the golden-sand beach. On the beach, the warm, shallow waters are equally suited for paddling and snorkelling.

If you drive for five minutes, you’ll also be at the gates of the PortAventura theme park. This is the largest theme park in Spain and comes with six different zones. If you want to get the adrenaline pumping, there’s also the tallest and fastest hypercoaster in Europe.

In the evening, a five-minute stroll towards the seafront will get you to the end of Carles Buigas Avenue, a long road lined with lively bars and nightclubs. Many of these stay open until the early hours.

Whether you’re looking to relax, enjoy wild rides or experience some lively evening entertainment, Salou is the perfect destination.

Resort Summary

Salou has two main beaches – both of which are European Blue Flag winners – that offer the kind of beautiful, fine sand and stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea that we’ve come to expect from holidays to Costa Dorada. Playa de Llevant beach is a great choice for families as the water remains calm and shallow and the sand is consistently smooth – ideal conditions for splashing around or doing some snorkelling. Playa de Llevant has a long stretch of beach bars and there are also small play areas for children along the promenade.

The second beach in Salou is Playa de Ponent. It’s slightly shorter than Playa de Llevant but still a kilometre long with quaint cafes dotted along the sand, perfect for an ice cold refreshment. If you want to venture further afield the busier tourist hotspot of Cambrils is just up the coast line.
