Valtos Beach Hotel and Studios

The Valtos Beach Hotel and Studios is in a secluded spot surrounded by cypress trees and olive groves. It’s only footsteps from the beach, too, with a pool a few metres from the water and a bar down on the sands.

The pool is set in lush gardens. Around the water, there are cushioned loungers where you can work on your tan. There’s also a poolside snack bar and a restaurant, and all studios and apartments come with kitchenettes, as well as a balcony or terrace.

Overview of Parga Town

When you head on holiday to Parga, you’ll encounter beautiful beaches, stunning scenery and plenty of historical sights. It’s sandwiched between the mountains and the sweeping bay, so every view is incredibly picturesque. In fact, it’s so beautiful here that it’s incredibly popular with people from other parts the country.

When you choose to take a holiday to mainland Greece rather than one of the more popular islands, you can enjoy your holiday at a relaxed pace in a go-slow destination.

Things to do in Parga

When you stay at the Valtos Beach Hotel and Studios, Valtos Beach is right on your doorstep. It’s a popular stretch of sand but doesn’t tend to get too crowded because of its size. It’s particularly popular with windsurfers but you can also catch a water taxi to Parga Town’s harbour.

The harbour is a great spot for an evening meal. It’s a beautiful location where most meals are served by candlelight. Fresh fish is on the menu, but you can also expect a good selection of classic Greek dishes.

If you’re an adventurer, Parga’s also a great base for a day trip. Corfu and Paxos are both popular destinations, but you can also visit Albania.

When you stay at the Valtos Beach Hotel and Studios, you’ll enjoy a take-it-easy holiday in the sunshine.

Resort Summary

You’ll find several fabulous beaches that are well worth a visit during Parga holidays. Consider heading to Valtos, which is two kilometres from Parga, where a long, fine sand and pebbled beach is surrounded by lush greenery. The most popular beach besides Valtos is Lichnos, another large bay with facilities fit for tourists.

Town Beach is just a walking distance from the town centre. Like the previous two, it is organized with chairs and umbrellas. The small size of the islet makes for a picturesque setting. The houses in Parga are constructed along the slopes of a mountain, in such a way that you can get good views of the sea.

The beautiful ruins of a Venetian castle can be seen at the top of a hill above the town of Parga, and a green islet with a white church stands at the mouth of the port. The amazing clear water on beaches makes them ripe for envy-inducing holiday snaps.
