Latania Apartments

The rooms at the The Latania Apartments are kitted out for DIY meals. All the rooms also provide a view of either the sea, the mountains or the hotel’s gardens. They also have a balcony or a terrace.

There’s a pool inside the hotel’s grounds that comes with a separate section for kids. It’s lined by stripy loungers and there are tall palm trees nearby if you’d rather lounge in the shade. There’s even a bar right next to the pool so you’ll never have to venture far for a drink.

Overview of Stalis

Stalis is wedged close to the lively resorts of Malia and Hersonissos, so when you head here on your holiday to Crete, you get three resorts for the price of one.

Stalis is very much the little sister to its nightlife-savvy neighbours, so you’re slightly protected from some of the wildest nightlife, but close enough that it’s easy to get stuck into the action!

It’s also got its own taverna-lined beach, which extends for more than six kilometres in front of the Latania Apartments. Whether you enjoy water sports, relaxing days or luxurious bars, there’s plenty to keep you happy down on the sand.

Things to do in Stalis

The Latania Apartments is in a prime spot and it’s only two minutes’ walk from the centre of Stalis and the beach. Down on the seafront, you’ll find a good selection of sea-view restaurants and bars, as well as plenty of souvenir shops to explore.

When you fancy a day trip, you’ll have plenty of options. You can jump on a ferry and head to Santorini or take a quick walk to either Hersonissos or Malia. For something a little gentler, Stalis is backed by olive groves and the Dikti Mountains, where you can take a scenic stroll.

Stalis is a great base for a family holiday to Crete. You’ll fall in love with its long beach, fantastic dining scene and beautiful scenery.

Resort Summary

Tucked along Crete‘s northern coast, Stalis is a peaceful resort flanked by two vibrant sister-towns. Here, you’ll find your days largely filled with dining in waterfront restaurants or lounging around the town’s long beach, but that’s not because there isn’t anything else to do – it’s because you won’t want to leave.

Daytrips from Stalis are as easy as they come. You can hop on a ferry to the stunning volcanic island of Santorini, or take a quick walk to the bordering towns of Hersonissos or Malia, which are so close to one another – it’s almost impossible to tell where one ends and the other begins.

Hersonissos is home to three exciting theme parks while Malia is the nightlife capital of the island. While staying on this patch of Crete, you’ll have all your holiday bases covered.
