Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach Golf and Spa Resort
The Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach Golf and Spa Resort is within striking distance of a beach and provides guests with plenty of swimming pools and restaurants.
On the inside, the hotel does everything in style. The lobby has a glass dome, a central staircase twists past tropical ferns, and rooms come with stripy sofas, dark-wood furniture, and a sea or garden-view balcony.
Outside, there’s a trio of lagoon-like pools, including a heated option with an adjoining hot tub. Children have their own splash pool with animal-shaped sprinklers and a mushroom fountain.
For meals, you have a choice of four restaurants and after sundown you can relax with a cocktail in the piano bar.
Overview of Costa Caleta
The laid-back resort of Costa Caleta was purpose-built with everything you could need for a relaxing holiday to Fuerteventura.
It’s not as busy here as other resorts in Fuerteventura, but there are plenty of bars, restaurants and attractions. Situated on Fuerteventura’s east coast, days are spent relaxing and unwinding but you’re also close to the capital if you fancy a culture-packed day out.
When you step out of the Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach Golf and Spa Resort, you’ll find a town that’s ideal for families. Amusement arcades, trampolines, volleyball, pool tables and mini-golf courses are all available, and the beach even has its own play area. Grandparents and grandchildren alike love the variety of attractions.
Things to do in Costa Caleta
The Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach Golf and Spa Resort is set on a sandy beach. If you don’t fancy topping up your tan on the sands, then a couple of golf courses sit just across the road, so you can work on your swing in the sunshine.
Caleta de Fuste Marina is also only a 10-minute drive away. From here, you can take boat trips to see the dolphins and other marine creatures that are native to Fuerteventura. If you fancy an adventure, you can even hop in a submarine that provides an underwater view.
Positioned in a central location, the capital of Puerto del Rosario is only a 15-minute car journey away. Here you’ll be surrounded by shops and culture. For a dose of scenery, Corralejo Park is only 40 minutes north.
Costa Caleta is a firm favourite with families. With a sweeping beach, a pretty marina and a main street packed with bars and restaurants, every member of the family will find something they love.
