This place takes some beating when it comes to setting. The Tezcan Hotel is set in the heart Dalyan and looks out over the town's river and ancient rock tombs, while mountains stand tall in the distance. If you want to make the most of the views upgrade to a river facing room that looks out over the mountains and come with private balconies. Inside, the walls are painted lemon yellow and are teamed with tiled floors that provide a platform for simple wooden furnishings. In room comforts like air conditioning and satellite TVs complete the scene.
The hotel itself has been cleverly designed to make the most of the amazing views. The swimming pool is just within flip flopping distance from the river, and comes with a huge terrace that's sprinkled with tables and chairs. It means you can order drinks and snacks from the pool bar, then sit and watch the boats go by.
Elsewhere, the hotel's restaurant provides the setting for breakfast lunch and dinner. Breakfast and evening meals are served buffet style and specialising in traditional Turkish cuisine, but there's also a good range of international dishes to choose from. Plus daily catches of fresh fish and blue crab are always on the menu. There's an outdoor terrace, too, so you can enjoy the warm weather while you eat.
