The all inclusive San Miguel Hotel is nestled into a wooded hillside offering stunning views over the bay, while the beach club is set below. The real bonus is the dazzling bay. It's narrow but spectacular, with a sand pebble beach at its centre. The shallow sea is perfect for families with young children, snorkelling and water sports.
As if all this wasn't enough, both the hotel and beach club roll out lots of attractions of their own. Take the pools. The beach club has its own lagoon-like number with palms and a whirlpool on the side. The hotel, meanwhile, features a rectangular pool with sun terraces and views over the beach below. What's more, because the complex is a two in one affair, you get a double helping of sports and facilities with a gym, tennis, sauna and archery to name a few. The San Miguel prides itself on its evening entertainments with lively quizzes, discos with a TUI run kids club.
Head for the hotel's eighth floor buffet restaurant where you can dine in the air conditioned restaurant with its huge windows offering awesome views over the bay. Go for a Chinese or tapas meal. Or head for the Western Saloon with its hot dogs, burgers and French fries, pint-sized guests can't get enough of it. There is also a children's buffet for them to enjoy. The bay is quite secluded, tucked in the northern part of Ibiza, but you're not really off the beaten track. There are shops, restaurants and bars close by, perfect for when you want to try somewhere new for a meal or drink.
