Wengen Switzerland is set amidst the spectacular scenery of the Jungfrau mountain range with the magnificent Eiger as a backdrop. Wengen ski resort, which shares the Jungfrau pass with Grindelwald and Murren, is most famous for its dramatic downhill course, the 'Lauberhorn'. It's also known as one of those classic Swiss ski resorts that have a relaxed atmosphere and stunning scenery. Wengen and Grindelwald offer skiers over 158kms of well-marked piste.

Beginners – With excellent Ski schools available in Wengen and great nursery slopes, beginners will soon progress onto the more testing slopes in the Ski area.

Intermediates – With access to the Jungfrau Top Ski Region, intermediate skiers have almost unlimited scope on a range of relaxing runs or more testing routes, which are perfect for testing out skills and improving technique.

Advanced – The more experienced skiers will have access to the World cup downhill piste, as well as the fearsome Black Rock run. Wengen will certainly offer more capable skiers some excellent challenges on the off-piste slopes.

Snowboarding – Wengen offers excellent runs for beginners as well as giving boarders the choice of two half-pipes in the region and a jumper’s corner. Wengen has a terrain park at Schreckfeld to practice skills and tricks, and look out for the 78th Lauberhorn Ski race in January 2008

Après Ski Wengen offers a good variety of après Ski to suit all tastes, from quiet and informal cafés to lively bars. There is also a good selection of restaurants to choose from serving a variety of cuisine. Wengen also offers an assortment of great activities, including ice skating, cinema, bowling, tobogganing and snowshoeing, as well as there being a wellness centre offering massage to help you relax.

Transfers – Wengen is situated approximately 1hr 30minutes fro Berne and 3hrs 15minutes from Geneva.
