Voyage Turkbuku
Holidays to the stunning Voyage Turkbuku will take you into a little bay just outside Bodrum, so you’re a little away from the action. Having said that it’s easy to get into town as the dolmus buses run from outside to take you there. Set on its own stretch of sand and pebble beach, the Voyage Turkubu offers views overlooking Bodrum castle. Sun beds line the shore and a jetty filled with daybeds and parasols juts out over the water.
The hotel’s pool provides another place to relax. It’s a sea facing stretch that comes with the same widescreen views as the beach. The atmosphere around the water is really calm, helped along by chill out music. The hotels décor takes the minimalist look, for instance in the lobby trendy cube shaped sofas sit next to indoor plants and glass topped tables. As for the bedrooms, meanwhile, some are housed in the main building and others are in villas tiered into the hillside. They’re finished in white, with chic walnut effect desks and tables. Wall mounted satellite TVs are here, too. If you want to up the comforts, splash out on a suite – they incorporate comfy sitting areas and come with sea-view balconies or terraces.
All inclusive buffets are served in the main restaurant and is open to the sea breezes and awash with wooden tables gazing over the Aegean. There are two à la carte restaurants which focus on fresh fish, seafood and Turkish creations that offer view over the flood lit castle and makes for a romantic setting. Elsewhere, you’ll find massage services and water sports rentals like kayaking and sailing to get you out on the waves.
