Villa Chalet Raul
If you crave a relaxing away from it all break then take your holidays in S’Algar, this blissfully quiet resort has nothing more than a few shops, restaurants and hotels, this place feels like a world away from the rest of the island.
S’Algar has got its own little beach, too, which is just down the road from the chalet and a 15-minute walk will take you to Alcaufar’s pretty golden stretch.
Chalet Raul comes complete with some great views and to help you make the most of them, the villa’s got a spacious ground-floor terrace, accessorised with tables, chairs and a portable barbecue. But it’s the upstairs bedrooms that have the best views – look out of the windows and you can see down to the beach and the ocean.
The villa itself is bordered by a hedge and set in its own lush garden, which is lovingly looked after by its owner. Leading off from here is a swimming pool.
Step inside and you’ll find a large and airy living-dining room. Decked out in neutral colours, tiled floors and traditional furniture, it’s got a real homely feel to it. The lounge area comes complete with all those home-from-home essentials, too, like a TV, a DVD player and a CD player. The kitchen, meanwhile, has got all the self-catering must-haves, including an oven, microwave and fridge-freezer. On the bedroom-front, you’ve got three doubles and one single, all kitted out with simple décor and furniture.
