Beginner – All beginner slopes are close to the village centre and the local Ski school has an exceptional reputation. There are also Ski and non Ski kindergartens.
Intermediates – Unbelievable choice of marked runs for the intermediate skier, especially the long sweeping runs of Moraine and Genepi.
Advanced – Plenty of challenging runs on and off piste all within the proximity of Val Thorens. Try out some amazing off piste runs from the top of Val Thorens over towards Mottaret or the biggest challenge, a steep black run under the Cime de Caron cable car.
Snowboarding – The wonderful Three Valleys area is a snowboarders dream. There are numerous groomed slopes to suit all tastes including off piste boarding. Val Thorens has a snowboard park with a half pipe.
Apres – Ski – A purpose built resort with a good variety of facilities. There are plenty of bars restaurants, creperies and pizzerias giving an excellent choice of evening entertainment.
Transfers – From Lyon approx 4hrs, Chambery,approx 3hrs and from Grenoble, approx 4hrs.
