Imagine your dream Spanish villa and it’s likely it’ll be low-set and whitewashed, with a terracotta-tiled roof. Add dark-green window shutters, a swimming pool and a sun terrace with a built-in barbecue, and you’ve got the Uri I. And what’s more, it’s just been built, so while it looks pretty traditional, you can be sure that everything’s fresh and modern.
Inside a calm and spacious feel greets you with a neutral colour scheme and cool tiled floors. Style-wise, things have been kept pretty simple – white walls dotted with carefully chosen prints have been teamed with pine furniture and soft-orange sofas.
There are three bedrooms to choose from – two twins and one double with an en suite bathroom. There’s a good-sized kitchen, too that is equipped everything you need for a self-catering break, including the all-important microwave, toaster, and kettle.
The star feature outside definitely has to be the pool. It’s not huge, but it’s the perfect cool-down size, bordered by a roomy terrace and reclining sun-beds. If you fancy taking a dip in the sea instead, the beach is about a thirty minute downhill stroll and is accessed via a path or steps. The nearest shops, bars and restaurants are a little closer. It’s about a fifteen minute walk to reach them – so you’re perfectly placed for exploring.
