Wonderfully Relaxing But With Plenty To Do
It really does say something for Troulos holidays when it can boast one of the best beaches on an island renowned for its stunning sands. Found on the south coast of Skiathos, Troulos can offer the best of both a coastal and country setting with a village that stretches away from the beach and into the distant, fragrant olive groves.
There’s a choice of tavernas both at the beach and in the village which also has a handful of shops, but don’t expect any bright lights and pulsating disco beats, it’s all about chilling out and relaxing on Troulos holidays.
The beach is sheltered by wooded headlands making the calm waters of the bay perfect for children and non swimmers. A handful of tavernas line the beach so you never need to wander far for refreshment and water sports are on hand should you feel the need to exert a little energy.
Nightlife is low key on Troulos holidays but Skiathos Town is just 10km away if you fancy something a little livelier. There’s a good mixture of hotels, guest houses and apartments in Troulos, with something to suit every taste and budget.
