Things to do on St Anton ski holidays

Spa Why not treat your weary bones at the end on an exciting day skiing with a trip to the Spa. Here you’ll find indoor and outdoor heated pools, waterfall, sauna, steam room and massage treatments. There’s also a children’s pool with fun slides.

Off Piste Grab a guide and a helicopter (easier than it sounds!) and head to some of the most spectacular off piste areas you are every likely to find.

Curling Perhaps not the first family recreational activity that springs to mind back home in the UK, however extremely popular in these parts perhaps due to the perfect icy conditions, curling is something the whole family can enjoy.

Après ski St. Anton is deservedly famous for its reputation as an alpine party scene. The resort has a lively, sophisticated social scene with a nice mix of quiet and raucous bars, plenty of very impressive restaurants and a thriving club scene.

Slopes on St Anton ski holidays

Beginners - Newcomers to skiing circles can make good use of the local ski schools in order to get the basics under their belt. There are some wide nursery slopes near the village where you can practice your technique and build your confidence on the slopes.

Intermediates - St. Anton is a superb resort for the intermediate skier, with a huge assortment of blue and red slopes to keep you busy. The Galzig and Gampen areas are often the popular starting points for intermediates, providing a good range of blue and red runs to stretch the legs. The long Valluga run presents a bit more of a challenge and helps to improve technique.

Advanced - Advanced skiers will be in their element in St. Anton, thanks to an impressive array of difficult black runs, moguls and challenging off-piste trails. Highlights include the Mattun, Schindlerkar and Stuber runs and not forgetting the formidable Valluga black runs.

Snowboarding - Among snowboarders St. Anton is a byword for quality. With miles of excellent terrain that will present a challenge to all different levels of rider, St. Anton is a free rider’s natural playground. In addition to the brilliant freestyle terrain with its natural gullies and kickers, St. Anton has its very own snowboard park at Rendl Beach.

There us a crèche in St Anton that accepts children from 2½, as long as they are out of nappies, and also a ski kindergarten which caters for 3 to 5 year olds.
