Don’t be misled into thinking that this traditional way of life excludes guests, far from it; the people of San José are keen to welcome tourists to their village, and are proud to share their village and the somewhat surprisingly large selection of shops and restaurants is testament to this. Many tourists just pass through on organised coach trips from other resorts, stopping for an hour or two to shop and sample the local hospitality, but the best way to experience the Ibiza way of life is to stay here. If you can drag yourself away from the village on your holidays in San José, then you can easily take a ride into San Antonio or Ibiza Town itself however we do have to warn you, once you experience the peace, tranquillity and laid back ambience of San José holidays, you might never want to leave.
