Peloponnese Holidays - Travel Guide

Visit the Peloponnese for Authentic Greek Style

The summer attracts many visitors, including Athenians and other Greeks to the verdant coastal regions of the Peloponnese. But Peloponnese holidays seem all too often to be overlooked by many visitors to Greece in favour of the Greek islands. Failing to embrace the idea of holidays in the Peloponnese means missing out on some fantastic beaches and the rural charm of sleepy towns and villages oozing authentic Greek style.

Tolon is a small town of the Pelopennese holiday region, set in a bay with clear blue water lapping the sandy beach that runs along from the small fishing harbour to the village. In the southwest of the Pelopennese peninsula Chrani, Finikounda and Stoupa are further evidence that not all of Greece has been inundated with tourist influence. These relaxing laidback towns have friendly locals, fine stretches of yellow sand, calm blue waters and traditional tavernas serving high quality Greek food and wine.
