Panormos Holidays

Panormos is an an ancient Greek term meaning ‘sheltered harbour’, which no doubt refers to the historic walls which surround the resort and still stand to this day. Surrounded by lush green forestry with the beach at the heart, this resort is geared towards those with a love of the outdoors – whether that is lying back on the warm sands, taking a relaxing stroll, or making a splash in the ocean.

Get on your feet

If you fancy a stroll into the village, you will find a wide range of shops, tavernas and restaurants which are open throughout the day and into the evening.

You will like to be beside the seaside

The main shingle beach is where most of the action takes place and is where you can enjoy a huge variety of watersports. Paddle-boarding is the most popular activity, but there’s also the opportunity to go scuba diving, kayaking and snorkelling. And if you fancy a bite to eat, there are three restaurants and beach bars to choose from. During the evenings, many choose to make their way to the sea front to witness the colourful glowing sunsets.

The beach is also home to a number of fascinating coves which can be explored on foot. Most are usually fairly quiet – you may end up having a cave all to yourself!

Hunt out some history

The nearby town of Skopelos is perfect for those with a love for exploring local history and culture. The old town is home to no fewer than 120 stunning Byzantine churches.
