Ocakkoy Cottages
The Ocakkoy Cottages are set in an exclusive hillside village that is made up of quaint restored cottages that are set in mature gardens. There are touches of Ottoman style – whitewashed walls, exposed stonework and beamed ceilings – in each of the mountain escapes. Each cottage has its own individual style thanks to things like bright blue wooden balconies and patchwork wall hangings. You can take your pick of cosy one bedroom boltholes through to bigger cottages which sleep four. They’ve all got open fireplaces, air conditioning and private furnished terraces. There’s also a kitchenette complete with three gas rings and a fridge, an a la carte restaurant and mini market are also on site. Perhaps best of all though, these cottages can help ease your holiday conscience since they use solar power and water saving techniques.
Outside, the cottages are connected by winding stone pathways that are lined with olive trees, colourful bougainvillea and shady palm trees. You’ll also find there are two adult only swimming pools and one family pool, which has a whirlpool tub and children’s pool. All the swimming spots are set in terraces with comfy sun loungers and parasols, and if you’re keen for an early morning kick start of a real Turkish coffee and sticky sweet pastry, just visit the on site restaurant.
