Las Gaviotas Hotel
Las Gaviotas combines slick design with a great location, it’s just a few minutes walk from the golden sands of Playa del Muro beach. Plus there’s an abundance of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Recently renovated this smart hotel really looks the part. Inside you’ll find a modern lobby with black marble floors and white cubist sofas, with a sleek bar edged by chrome stools.
Elsewhere, the bedrooms are sleek spaces giving them a calm and sophisticated feel to them. Decorated in a palette of coffee and cream, big beds are dressed in white and topped with apple green scatter cushions. Trimmings, meanwhile, come in the form of flat screen TVs, and a furnished balcony or terrace. If you’re after a bit of extra space, opt for a suite - they come with a separate lounge area that’s kitted out with a plush leather corner sofa.
Outdoors, there are two swimming pools with the main pool comes with a built in whirlpool bath. Move round to the second one and you’ll find it’s an altogether quieter set up. This smaller oblong pool is set in a vast terrace with palms and raised flower beds framing the scene. Food wise, the buffet restaurant serves made to order omelettes and pancakes along with an abundance of help yourself food. While evening meals are a mix or local and international cuisine.
