    Only a 10-minute walk away from the main village centre is Lardos’ Blue Flag beach. With shallow waters safe for swimming, it’s a great spot to bring the family and an ideal place to do a bit of snorkelling. Sunloungers and parasols are also available for hire on the beach if you’re planning on darkening your tan.

    The town next door

    Lardos’ nearest next-door neighbour is the larger resort of Lindos. This thriving town is just a 15-minute drive away and if you’re looking for a more upbeat – and louder – nightlife scene it has plenty of bars and clubs down its cobbled streets. Lindos also has museums and art galleries if you want to soak up some Greek culture. There’s little you can’t find in Lindos’ narrow and historical streets, including some fantastic shopping opportunities where you can pick up local Greek wines, handmade jewellery and bottles of that famous ouzo liqueur.
