Beginners – The wide-open nursery slopes at the foot of the Hahnenkamm gondola, close to the town centre, provide the perfect introduction to skiing and are ideal for practising and improving skills. The Kitzbuheler Horn also offers some superb undemanding blue runs for the more confident beginner.

Intermediate – Intermediates are in their element - the swooping, wooded runs of the Ehrenbachhöhe and the exhilarating descents of the Kitzbuheler Horn will offer challenging and manageable pistes for the competent skier.

Advanced – Skiers will certainly want to test their skills on the challenging “Hahnenkamm Streif”, considered by many to be the most testing of all the international racing pistes, where you can reach speeds of up to 88mph.

Snowboarders – With excellent schools and over 200 instructors Kitzbuhel is a great resort for all types of boarders, from beginners to experienced riders, there are plenty of choices for all. The terrain on the Kitzbuheler Horn is one of Tyrol's most scenic and popular snowboarding areas. The snowboarding park helps to improve skills and gives riders the opportunity to practice tricks.

Après Ski Après skiing activities in Kitzbuhel include horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice-skating, curling, swimming, bowling, and even theatres with English-speaking movies. Along with the stylish restaurants, sophisticated lively nightspots and quieter bars and cafés there is something to suit most tastes. You can also take day excursions to Salzburg and Innsbruck for shopping and time away from the slopes.
