Not One But Two Blue Flag Beaches To Choose From
If lazy days on the beach are your idea of holiday heaven then Kanapitsa on the beautiful island of Skiathos could be just what you are looking for. Firstly, there is not one, but two vast sandy Blue Flag beaches to choose from, both backed by a forest of greenery and edged by sparkling blue waters.
Secondly the beachside tavernas ensure you never have to wander far for those much needed refreshments. If you do find yourself having a burst of energy; then there are a whole host of water activities to choose from, otherwise, pick your spot, spread out your towel, and relax.
For a change of scenery, there are another couple of beauty spots nearby, just follow the footpaths through the pretty trails to quieter, more secluded coves such as Koutsouri and Delfiniki, or head further up the coast to Tzaneria.
Evenings are as casual as the days on holidays to Kanapitsa and are usually spent enjoying the traditional dishes of the beachside tavernas. If you do fancy something a little livelier, just hop on a water taxi and head into nearby Skiathos Town where the streets are buzzing with international bars and pavement cafes. You can even dance the night away in one of the pulsating clubs before heading back to the peace and tranquillity of the lovely Kanapitsa.
