The resort of Kamisiana lacks supermarkets, discos, clubs and bright lights. In fact there is a small village shop that stocks the essentials and a handful of Tavernas that double up as bars. The resort is perfectly set for quiet, cheap and relaxing evenings. If things are a little too relaxed then you can jump in a taxi 15 miles up the coast to the bright lights of Chania Harbour.

The views are very easy on the eye with lush greenery backing an ultra long sand and shingle beach and the accommodation is of a high standard with self catering apartments complete with nice swimming pools. It’s only a small resort but it packs a mighty punch with those who visit.
