Jardin Del Sol Apartments
The modern Jardin Del Sol Apartments is a smart complex just 10 minutes from the centre of Playa del Inglés and being surrounded by leafy grounds, makes a great escape. The sandy beach is a twenty minute stroll away, or for a couple of euros you can get there by cab. So if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful but within easy reach of all the action, it’s a bit of a hidden gem.
The newly renovated apartments look like little terraced houses, inside, they’re modern and fresh, with splashes of bright red and blue in the décor. Downstairs, there’s an open plan lounge with a kitchen area kitted out for self catering. And you’ll find the bedroom and bathroom up on the top floor. Step outside where you’ll be greeted with your own little furnished terrace.
But the main attraction out here has to be the swimming pool, this lagoon shaped number curves around a snack bar, with plenty of space for sunbathing. And there’s a kids’ pool and covered playground as well. It’s all surrounded by swaying palms and tropical plants, and there’s no traffic noise so you can enjoy it in peace.
The chilled out vibe carries through to the evening and the apartments’ bar is great for a low key night out, while the bright lights of the resort are just around the corner. Stock up on sangria, pull up a chair on the terrace, and just enjoy the sunset. You’ll soon see why guests come back here year after year.
