Hotel H10 Lanzarote Princess
The Hotel H10 Lanzarote Princess is a located in a fairly centre spot but still manages to be quiet and relaxed. The beautiful golden sands of Playa Dorada Beach are just a five minute stroll away. While another five minutes will take you to the centre of town, where you’ll find plenty in the way of bars and seafood restaurants.
In terms of layout, the hotel is a modern, low level whitewashed number. Its wings fan out around a good sized pool dotted with palms and evergreens. And there’s plenty of space on the terrace to position your sun lounger. Inside, the hotel is nicely decorated. Take the lobby. It works stark white marble and tropical plants to good effect. Likewise the bedrooms are quite classic in their look and feel, and are kitted out with air conditioning and satellite TVs. Some of the rooms have recently been refurbished and look good dressed in calm neutrals.
Food wise, breakfast is particularly worth a mention, the Lanzarote Princess lays a good buffet spread of fresh fruit and hot options, including made to order omelettes. Now and again the hotel puts on speciality evenings, serving up Canarian, Italian and Oriental dishes. After dinner, most people head for the piano bar for a nightcap
If you’ve got the kids in tow, book a family room, they give you extra space so you won’t be treading on each other’s toes and they’re on the ground floor so getting to and from the pool is easy. Plus, the hotel lays on plenty for children – they get their own pool as well as swings and slides. Rounding things off, the hotel has its own kids’ club to keep them entertained.
