Hotel Caribe
Hotel Caribe recreates the atmosphere of the Caribbean on Port Aventura’s doorstep, which is a five minutes away. The hotel is an attractive property with beautiful open spaces with low rise buildings. Surrounded by tropical gardens, swaying palm trees and thatched parasols with four inviting swimming pools to choose from which one has its own white sandy beach. A spacious sun terrace is lined with sun loungers; relax with a cocktail on the wicker loungers by the pool side bar thrown in.
The hotel itself is very impression with air conditioning throughout. Hotel Caribe has two a la carte restaurants La Piazza and Puerto Viejo, while the at the El Bohio buffet which overlooks the lake, international and Mediterranean food is plentiful, and serves breakfast and half board meals. The Salsa Café serves drinks and snacks or head to Mango Bongo and La Bodeguita del Medio.
Modern bedrooms with blue walls, blueberry sofas and baby blue bed linen is mixed with dark wooden furniture and cream lamp shades and come complete with satellite TV, minibar, bathroom with hairdryer and either a balcony or terrace.
For total relaxation a wellness centre is available with heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and a fully equipped gym, spa treatments are available with prices payable local. For the younger travellers there is a kids club offering a range of activities and entertainment. For all the family there is a full day and evening entertainment programme. For those looking for a bit of activity there is a football area, beach volleyball court and a 1.5km jogging circuit.
