Grupotel Macarella Suites & Spa
If you’re looking for fantastic all inclusive holidays in Cala n Bosch, the Grupotel Macarella Suites & Spa is a worthy choice. Not only has a got an abundance of on-site facilities for an enjoyable stay, it is in a pretty good location too. The lovely sandy beach is a stones throw away and the stunning marina, lined with cafes and restaurants is just a little further.
The outside of the Macarella Suites & Spa is all pinky-terracotta arches, ivory pillars and wrought-iron balconies. Inside, it switches to a more contemporary-classical theme, with an elegant lobby graced with chandeliers, galleried landings and potted palms.
The apartments are spacious and light, and decorated in warm yellows that pay homage to the Menorcan sunshine. Each has its own private balcony or terrace, comfy lounge and well equoipped kitchenette. Satellite TVs and air-conditioning come as standard.
Outside is the star attraction of the complex, its gardens and pool. The pool is a decent size, with a fenced-off children’s section at one end. If you want to up the relaxation a notch, there’s a brand new spa with skin-tingling massages and body wraps on offer, too. Not forgetting a sleek indoor pool and small gym.
While it may be a suite hotel, you’ve got a pool bar for light lunches and a buffet restaurant that’s as smart as they come. With its starched white linen and lattice-backed chairs, it’s got a country-club feel, and next door, there’s a lounge bar complete with an al fresco terrace where you can enjoy a drink overlooking the pool.
