Rustic Charm And Idyllic Scenery...

The area is known locally as ‘Deia’ and is around a forty minute drive from Palma Airport on the North West coast of the popular Balearic Island Majorca. Deya holidays are a far cry from the tourist resorts of coastal Majorca and are home only to a pebble beach. The water is warm and crystal clear making it excellent for bathing and snorkelling. There are a handful of restaurants and the odd bar but if you want exciting nightlife you will need to head to one of the bigger resorts. The scenery is Déjà’s real gem and attracts keen walkers every year. The steep slopes of the Serra De Tramuntana Mountain range are lush green, beautiful and excellent for exploring. One of the main tourist attractions on cheap holidays to Deya is the historical buildings. There is a parish church dating back to the fifteenth century and museum which is home to a wide range of religious art. The monastery of Miramar dates back to the thirteenth century and is a peaceful and beautiful place to visit offering a standing archaeological museum. The rustic charm and idyllic scenery makes it difficult not to fall in love with last minute holidays to Deya.
