Dalyan Resort
The Dalyan Resort couldn’t be better placed set on the banks of the Calbis River and looking out over the ancient city of Kaunos. The hotel is surrounded by rolling hills and thick clusters of pine trees with panoramic views in every direction, encompassing mountains, a river and an ancient city. What’s more, its tucked away setting means the whole place is really peaceful.
One of the best spots to enjoy the hotel’s surroundings is by the swimming pool. It’s just footsteps from the river, and comes with a decked terrace that offers up the perfect spot for watching boats sail past. Leading off from the terrace, you’ll find well manicured gardens and a thatched roof snack bar complete with tables and chairs. Inside the hotel the vibe is just as serene, the bedrooms are decorated in calming neutrals that are paired with simple wooden furniture. As for the hotel’s buffet restaurant, it’s a casually dressed space, where candle lit tables flow out onto the pool terrace in the evenings. When it comes to sports the Dalyan Resort offers a profusion of choices rent a bike and explore the resort. Try your hand at rowing or canoeing, practise your serve on the tennis court.
