If you’re after a hotel that allows for more than just swimming and sunbathing, this place is right on the mark. Its sports scene is top of the range, with mini soccer, road biking, tennis, and even Nordic walking all on the agenda. Things are just as lively in the evenings, with live music and themed parties topping the bill.
The hotel is geared up towards taking it easy, too. Outside, four large swimming pools weave their way around spacious terraces and palm dotted lawns with an abundance of sun beds and parasols. The main one is in a great spot, just footsteps from a beautiful white sandy beach. Plus it comes with a snack bar serving a wide selection of refreshing drinks and light bites.
The bedrooms are set in low level whitewashed buildings which look out over palm lined pathways and green lawns. Inside, they’ve taken a traditional approach where tan coloured floor tiles and wicker furniture is teamed with patterned soft furnishings. Air conditioning keeps things comfortable, while satellite TVs and good sized balconies complete the scene. For sit down meals, though, head to one of the restaurants. The main one offers up buffet spreads of international dishes, while the à la carte buffets specialise in Mediterranean, Canarian favourites and Thai cuisine.
