Candolim Beach - Relaxing, Traditional And Glorious White Sands

Candolim Goa is located on a 7km stretch of glorious unspoilt white sands with the bars and shacks set way back in the sand dunes. There are many water sports available on the beach at Candolim i.e. water skiing, wind surfing and para sailing, you can also see the local fisherman using traditional hand nets to bring in their “catch” of the day. Goan beaches are well known for their “shacks” serving traditional Goan cuisine of fish, curry and rice. Restaurants located along the beaches also serve local and international cuisine of the highest order; the same can be said for most of North Goa. Candolim Beach is ideal for those looking for a quieter, less commercial, relaxing holiday.

The village roads are lined with shops selling traditional Goan ware as well as Tibetan and Kashmiri goods. Candolim nightlife is low key and relaxing with small friendly bars to visit. The most famous attraction in Candolim is a 17th century Portugese fortress the Aguda Fort. Candolim Hotels range from Guesthouses (popular with backpackers) bed and breakfasts to Luxury five-star accommodation. Candolim Flights are available from most UK Airports all bookable online at Holiday Hypermarket!
