Holidays to Cala Millor manage to show off a little bit of everything this island has to offer from traditional hospitality to chic boutiques and lively nightlife. Cala Millor holidays centre around the vast stretch of sand which is quite unusual on a coastline overflowing with rocky inlets and rugged bays. Families and couples flock to the beach to relax and enjoy the fine Mediterranean sunshine or join in the water sports that are always an energetic distraction. The shady promenade is alive with shops and cafes and just back from the sea front you’ll find the pedestrianised centre with a wealth of boutiques, bars and restaurants. Menus cater for every palette with an array of traditional dishes, international cuisine, good old fashioned English cooking and some succulent speciality fish dishes. By evening, the atmosphere steps up to another level when the streets are lively without being boisterous, there are plenty of family friendly bars with entertainment, karaoke’s and quizzes whilst the young and young at heart can dance the night away at one of the few discos that this resort has to offer. Holidays in Cala Millor offer not only an excellent beach location, but some stunning surrounding countryside, take a walk through the fragrant orchards and spectacular mountain trails up to the Punta Amer nature reserve in the north. The 17th century watch tower here offers picture perfect panoramic views of the stunning Cala Millor Bay below and a fascinating insight into the area’s history. You can enjoy a stroll along the tree lined promenade to nearby Cala Bona, with the quaint resorts of Sa Coma and S’Illot, also close by. Glass bottom boat rides will give you the chance to see the stunning coastline from a different angle and the boats usually stop offshore for 30 minutes or so to let you take a refreshing swim.

From All Inclusive To Self Catering

Children will love the Fantasy Park outdoor play area in the centre of town and for all budding Lewis Hamilton’s there’s also a karting track. There are an abundance of self catering apartments in the resort to choose from on Cala Millor holidays, all of which have excellent facilities and leave the option open to explore the restaurants and bars to the fullest. Many hotels offer varying board options with half and full board being the most favoured; although you will find a few hotels that cater for all inclusive. Cala Millor has the perfect accommodation for the perfect holiday. Temperatures often reach 30° C during the peak summer months, however autumn is possibly the best time to visit if you are planning on doing a lot of hiking or walking, whilst winter months remain mild and can still provide over 5 hours of sunshine a day.
